Feb. 25th, 2012...............Moving Day

For those of you who don't know, we are moving to Everett, WA.  As you can see,  moving day is Feb. 25th, about 6 weeks from now.

Through the generosity of my sister and her husband, we have been invited to share their beautiful and large home.  As we speak, they are building  an additional bedroom equipped with a handicapped bathroom to accommodate  Keith's . Also, living in Everett  we will be closer to  anticipated future hospital  and dr. needs. We cannot thank them enough.

Bittersweet it is. Granite Falls is the longest place we have lived. Going on 16 years, we have thoroughly enjoyed it.  We've  met so many wonderful people. You have given us such overwhelming love and support,  it will be hard to  find that again.

The Lord has guided us through this decision and we feel good about it. But you better come and see us sometime. =) You WILL be welcome. If you knew my sister and brother-in-law, you wouldn't even hesitate. They are generous and display an example of God's love that I have seen few times in my life.

Until later, and maybe even in Everett,

  1. I am happy for this opportunity for you guys, but will miss seeing you guys at church! It sounds like a great place and we will have to come and see you. I remember when I first started at the Father's House and going to your house for 40 Days of Purpose. You guys were my first connection (other than Joelle) to the Father's House, as far as getting to know people. You both were (and are) such gracious people. Love you both and will miss you!!

  2. Thank you Linda. I was beginning to wonder if anyone cared we were moving. =) I will always remember when you first came to the Father's House. You and Rod are such good people to know. I am going to hold you to that promise to come and see us!

  4. I know God is watching and has a large smile upon his face filled with love and joy knowing that you will be in your
sisters and brother in laws home - what a perfect place for him to watch and shower his love.
Being in his "hands" full of love and warmth. Father is truely in your presence. THank you Dear God for your blessing.
You will be so dearly missed - Granite Falls will truely miss you - you have touched so many of our lives. Through your teaching - so many young people that you have taught and inspired to be more than they ever thought possible, - your community and the house of Our Father.

We will miss you - our Love is with you.

  5. How loving of your family. So thankful that you will have people surrounding you. You will be very missed, BUT we will still see you. I know Keith would be heart broken without awesome jokes & cookies :). You are loved and such an amazing example of God's love, faithfulness, and grace. I pray that I can follow in your example of faith in my life....♥

  6. Oh! :( I knew this day was coming, but was hoping it was later on. Yet I am so happy for you two to move in with family, and to be so greatly supported. What a huge blessing for the two of you! I'm going to miss seeing you guys at church. I love you guys, and am glad that it's only Everett--definitely still close by. :)Praying for you guys during your move. Let me know if you need someone to pack boxes, etc. or help you with moving. Love you both <3

  7. Hello Pam, I just found your blog. My mother in law has MSA. She was so good at hiding things that we aren't really sure when it started. She lived alone then so there was no one constantly there with her to notice things. I have questions that I would like to ask you, if you are willing and have time to answer. The doctors say it is not hereditary but I have been noticing so many things about my husband that do not seem normal. He is 46. I can't ask my mother in law how it was in the beginning for her because she is no longer able to speak. I know it's asking a lot but I would appreciate any help you could give me. My email is LynnannLangdon@cfbankmail.com I wish you well in your upcoming move. Sincerely, Lynn

  8. Lynn,
I emailed you some answers to your questions but was unable to send it as it said the delivery failed. If you are on facebook, I will add you as a friend and we can message that way. Sorry.

  9. Pam,

I just saw your comment and realized that my middle name isnt in my email address. It's Lynnlangdon@cfbankmail.com. Sorry about that. Could you please try again? I'm so sorry. I don't mean to be annoying. Does your husband twitch and jerk when he is sleeping? My husbands body doesn't stop when he is asleep. Every muscle twitches like little pulses or spasms. He doesn't do this when he is awake. I'm not sure he even knows it's happening and I don't want to scare him. I know you are busy. I appreciate the time you have already taken with me. Thank you for your help.

    Lynn
